MLD is a light touch treatment which is used to move access lymph and fluids from the tissues of the body back to the lymphatic vessels. In post cosmetic surgery cases, it is used to move access fluids to the liver for disposal. (in post cosmetic surgery cases, this treatment is suggested once a week for 3 to 5 weeks).
